Our History

Our story begins in Victoria

Light Right began as a seasonal holiday lighting business, bringing festive cheer to Victoria's homes and businesses during the winter months. As our reputation for quality and creativity grew, so did our vision. We expanded our services to include year-round outdoor lighting solutions, from landscape lighting, to seasonal and permanent Christmas/holiday lighting, to event lighting. Today, we've completed over 500 projects across all seasons, each uniquely tailored to meet our clients' needs while reflecting our commitment to excellence and innovation. Our focus remains solely on outdoor lighting, allowing us to offer unparalleled expertise and creativity in every project we undertake.

When he's not transforming outdoor spaces, you'll find him exploring Vancouver Island's landscapes with his dog through hiking, kayaking, and camping. His infectious positive energy and commitment to exceeding expectations drive our company's success.

Adam Foeller

Co-Owner / Enabler of Transformation

Hi. I’m Adam. Sometimes known as Flapjack.

I spent most of my education and work life focused on planning and running festivals and special events, continually trying to improve my skills and looking at situations from different perspectives.

Now that I am running Light Right with Josh, I try to apply that same mentality. Whether we’re designing someone’s landscape project with 50+ fixtures or lighting up an intimate wedding reception, I always try to see the situation from multiple perspectives and with multiple considerations.

Am I sometimes guilty of overthinking a situation? My wife and friends, and co-workers, and past co-workers, and the guy I just talked to on the street, would all say yes.

Am I going to make sure that all of my client’s bases are covered? Guy on the street says yes to that, too.
